For 47 years, The School Around Us has been supporting and celebrating local crafters & makers. We hosted our very first craft fair in Kennebunkport in 1972. Twelve craftspeople participated. We are excited to announce that In 2019 we will be hosting two summer fairs each hosting 80+ craftspeople; the first on July 6th and the second on August 31st.

These fairs help us fund our tiny but mighty, non-profit school. Thank you for being an important part of our community.

Applications Open: January 14

Applications Close: March 29

Acceptance Notifications: April 12

Application Fee

The non-refundable application fee is $10. Your application will not be complete until you pay the application fee.

The application deadline is March 29, 2019.

Acceptance Notification

SAU Craft Fairs are juried craft fairs. If we could accept everyone, we would, but space is limited. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance status via email by April 12, 2019. Accepted vendors will then have one week to pay the vendor fee of $150 for each fair. If you are participating in both fairs, your fee will be $300 total.

Vendor Fee

The vendor fee is $150 per fair. If you want to participate in both fairs, your fee will be $300. If we do not receive your vendor fee by April 19, 2019, you, unfortunately, forfeit your spot and are not permitted to sell or trade your space. Your spot will then be given to a maker on our waiting list.

Vendor Fee Deadline

The deadline to pay the vendor fee is April 19, 2019.

Payment

PayPal. If you don't have a PayPal account, PayPal allows you to use your debit or credit card. Yippee!

Refunds

The $150 vendor fee is refundable at any time until May 31. After May 31, vendor fees are, unfortunately, non-refundable. Application fees are non-refundable.

Table Spaces

You will have an allocated space of 10' x 10'. You must bring your own table or display. As you know, you cannot display items outside of your allocated space. Ganny’s Garden is VERY special, please keep all items away from the beautiful flowers.

If you are applying to share a table with a friend, please submit one application. One person should be the main contact and is responsible for the full fee for all parties involved. When you apply please note that you intend to share the space and with whom. Requests to share a table will not be considered after the application close date.
