The School Around Us Stream Catchers is our nature-based after school enrichment program for children ages 4-8. The home-base for Stream Catchers is our yurt, a circular, free-standing building on our property just at the edge of the woods.

Stream Catchers classes are designed to widen your child’s understanding of self and the natural world around them. Through nature-immersed experiences, Stream Catchers students’ creativity, curiosity, and imagination will be unlocked into the raw, natural order of life beyond the walls of home and school.

Stream Catchers: Woodland Animals Around Us This is an after school program for children ages 4-8. We’re offering two separate four-week sessions on Wednesdays this fall. Through explorations and animal role play your child will connect to the natural rhythms of the fall. Each day we will do nature activities derived from our observations of the animals and woods around us (for example: building animals homes and collecting food for winter). We will read nature stories, play games, and explore the wilderness. Your child will develop a deeper connection to the out of doors, build community, and learn how to be safe in the wilderness. Sign up for one or both sessions!
