Owl Community Day

  • School Around Us 281 Log Cabin Road Arundel, ME, 04046 United States (map)

Meet: @School Around Us

COST: $30 per child (adult participants are free)
Note: adult accompaniment is required for unenrolled learners

Join us for a day of owl activities as we celebrate these amazing animals! The Center for Wildlife will bring their non-releasable owl ambassadors for a presentation that includes learning about habitats, diets, calls, and tips on how to spot them in the wild. We’ll learn how to help steward the environment that we share with owls and all creatures. After the presentation, we’ll also play some Predator & Prey games and have lunch and exploration time. In the afternoon, we’ll dissect owl pellets, and create owl drawings.

What to Bring: a bag lunch and plenty of snacks, a water bottle. Remember to dress for the weather for all our outdoor time!
